Job Description We are seeking energetic and passionate Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our dedicated Housekeeping Team at Movenpick Wellington, on a Part Time basis working on rotating roster - availability to work on Saturdays and Sundays is a must! In this role you will work within guest rooms, ensuring each room is kept clean, tidy and immaculately presented at all times. We are seeking people who go that extra mile to provide a memorable guest experience. This is a part time role working across Monday to Sunday, waged at $25.42 per hour. What you will be doing: Clean all assigned guestrooms to standard Take initiative to add a personalised experience for the guest Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated. Ensure guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished to the correct standards for the room type. Report any lost property following correct. Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated. Ensure guest laundry is handled in line with Hotel policy. Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment as set down in procedures manual. Ensure all department equipment is maintained to a high standard. Assist with regular equipment stocktaking. Ensure the security of keys and guest rooms at all times by adherence to security procedures. Report any suspicious persons or items to Supervisor. Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturers instructions. Any other reasonable request as required by your Supervisor or Hotel Management. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably within the hotel industry or similar Have an eye for detail and an uncompromising approach to standards of cleanliness A friendly, customer-focused attitude with the drive to provide total customer satisfaction Initiative to ensure that interactions with colleagues and customers are positive and efficient The ability and flexibility to work across a 7 day roster – Including weekends and public holidays You will have NZ residency or be holding a permanent NZ work visa.
