REQUIREMENTS OF A ROOM ATTENDANT AND SERVER
Outstanding customer service skills.
2 or more years of Front-of-house restaurant and/or housekeeping experience.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to climb stairs, and work while standing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending.
A commitment to cleanliness by having a strong attention to detail.
Ability to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects up to 30 pounds.
Serving It Right Certification.
WHMIS Certification.
Responsibilities:
Food and Beverage service for morning and evening meals.
Prepare, set, and clear tables according to standards, paying special attention to cleanliness and atmosphere.
Take guests beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
Serving food to guests as prepared by the kitchen in a timely manner.
Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas.
Stocking supplies for the department.
Wash, dry, and fold laundry according to housekeeping procedures.
Work safely and in compliance with WorkSafeBC.
Answer questions about the resort, and the local area with a positive attitude.
Continuously communicate with other service team members in a respectful and proactive manner
