Job Description As a Room Attendant, you are a valuable member of the housekeeping team, responsible for ensuring guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will take pride in delivering well-prepared, comfortable rooms while paying close attention to detail. You will work both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a professional and courteous approach when interacting with guests and supporting their needs where required. Duties Clean guest rooms, storage areas, and corridors to the required standard as allocated. Replenish guest supplies and bathroom/room amenities in line with room type standards. Report any lost property in accordance with hotel procedures. Carry out scheduled and routine cleaning tasks as assigned. Handle guest laundry in compliance with hotel policy. Use, clean, and maintain equipment properly, reporting any faults as per procedure. Ensure all departmental equipment is kept in good working condition. Assist with regular stocktakes of equipment and supplies. Maintain security of keys and guest rooms at all times, following all security procedures. Report any suspicious activity or items to a supervisor. Follow correct usage, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals in accordance with health and safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
