Position Overview:
CCS Cleaning has an exciting opportunity for you as Hotel Room Attendant, located in Amsterdam.
Since 1967, CCS is a leader in the cleaning industry, and we’re now looking for a dedicated Room Attendant to join our team in the hospitality sector. As a Room Attendant, you ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests. If you’re an organized professional with a passion for exceptional service, to contribute to our high standards of guest experiences.
You should be available 7 days a week with shift hours from 9am until 3:30pm. We encourage a rotation with 5 working days per week with a total of 30 hours, to meet the operational needs of the hotel. This requires your flexibility to be open to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Room Attendant, you will be an integral part of the housekeeping team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. Your role will involve assisting the housekeeping staff with various tasks to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Room Cleaning and Preparation: Assist in cleaning and preparing guest rooms by making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities.
  • Replenish supplies, such as toiletries and towels, as needed in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins regularly, ensuring proper disposal of waste and adherence to recycling procedures.
  • Restocking and Inventory: Monitor and restock housekeeping carts with supplies, such as cleaning agents, linens, and amenities, as necessary. Report any shortages or equipment malfunctions to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Guest Service: Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional amenities, towels, or other housekeeping services, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient completion of tasks, providing assistance and support as needed.
  • Adherence to Safety and Sanitation Standards: Follow established safety and sanitation procedures, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning agents and equipment. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area. Identify and report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards in guest rooms or public areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor for prompt resolution.

Qualifications And Skills:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not required.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment is beneficial.
