Description Position Summary Responsible for providing housekeeping services by performing cleaning tasks of hotel guestrooms and public areas per quality control standards for cleanliness. Essential Functions Provides courteous housekeeping services for guests. Washes and sanitizes bathroom floors, tubs, sinks, showers, and commodes. Makes beds in neat wrinkle-free condition including roll-a ways, cribs, and sleepers. Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas. Confirms all appliances are operational and set property such as clocks, radios, televisions, and lighting. Carries linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts. Empties wastebaskets, empties and cleans ashtrays, and transports other trash and waste to disposal areas. Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Dusts and polishes furniture and equipment. Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and/or polishes floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers. Washes windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. Hang draperies and dust window blinds. Disinfects equipment and supplies using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers. Observes precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report any damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Removes debris from driveways, parking lots, and swimming pool areas. Polishes silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings. Replaces light bulbs. Performs all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort customer service standards. Maintains general knowledge and provides information to guests of Chinook Winds Casino Resort events, programs, and services. Provides input or recommendations for improvements and changes in processes or services. All other duties as assigned. Requirements Position Qualifications WORKERS IN THIS POSITION MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER Competency Statements Communication Skills- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing clearly and concisely.
