POSITION REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Manager Housekeeping Team Leader and/or Supervisor POSITIONS REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: Nil KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Housekeeping Team Members Owners and guests PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: At Travel + Leisure our vision is to put the world on vacation, in your position as the Room Attendant you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and comfort in guest accommodation. Our Values are the HEART of Travel + Leisure, the beliefs of our global team that define what we recognize as important, meaningful and right: Hospitality – treating everyone like family Engagement – delivering our promise Accountability – owning our impact Respect – considering others in every interaction Teamwork – succeeding together PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but not limited to:) Provide exceptional customer service to guests, owners and other staff members at all times Clean apartments as assigned, in accordance with standard to ensure cleaning of all guests rooms is satisfactorily completed within allotted timeframe Maintain pantry in a clean and orderly condition. Keep pantries stocked with supplies only as instructed Check all items not removed from apartment at each turn are in good condition and clean, e.g. bedspreads, blankets and mattress protectors Ensure that the rooms are equipped with the necessary facilities, i.e. crockery, linen, information leaflets, etc by replenishing these daily or as required by guest Check all soft furnishings in guest rooms for stains or damage Ensure corridors and service areas are clean at all times Assist other members of the department in keeping the guest accommodation clean Empty vacuums and report any maintenance required Other tasks as assigned by the Resort Management team Employees must ensure they comply with Travel + Leisure’s OH&S Policy, procedures and any reasonable instruction given by Travel + Leisure. Employees must not wilfully place at risk the health and safety of themselves or any other persons in the workplace and to not wilfully or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided for health and safety.
