JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping Department at a prestigious 5-star hotel in Mayfair. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort. Duties include making beds, replenishing amenities, cleaning bathrooms, and ensuring all assigned guest rooms and public areas meet the impeccable standards expected of a luxury hotel. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining the best service standards in a world-class hospitality environment.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a hotel.
  • 3 days training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills with a friendly and professional manner when interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding service and guest satisfaction.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks, including standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and moving items as required.
  • Willingness to undergo training and adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the needs of the hotel.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms to the highest standards, ensuring they are tidy, spotless, and well-presented at all times.
  • Change bed linens, towels, and replenish room supplies and amenities as required, ensuring everything is in excellent condition.
  • Dust, polish, and clean all furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to uphold the luxury standards expected in a 5-star environment.
  • Vacuum carpets and clean floors to maintain a hygienic and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Clean and sanitise public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and other shared spaces, as required.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the relevant department without delay.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service and consistently high standards.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude at all times, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and hotel policies during the execution of duties.
