The Room Attendant ensures every guest room is presented to the highest standard of cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail, transforming each stay into a memorable Fairmont experience. Job Description Prepare and service guest rooms to Fairmont’s exacting luxury standards Ensure impeccable cleanliness and presentation of bedrooms, bathrooms, and amenities Replenish linens, towels, and guest supplies with care and consistency Report maintenance issues promptly, ensuring rooms remain in perfect condition Handle guest belongings and privacy with the utmost respect and discretion Support VIP room preparations, ensuring personalised touches and flawless presentation Maintain housekeeping trolleys and storage areas in a clean, organised, and fully stocked state Respond to guest requests with warmth, professionalism, and a guest‑first mindset Collaborate with Floor Supervisors, Housekeeping, and Front Office to ensure timely room readiness Follow all cleaning procedures, including deep‑cleaning schedules and brand standards Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including COSHH and manual handling Participate in daily briefings and training sessions to stay aligned with service expectations Support lost‑and‑found procedures with accuracy and confidentiality Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team‑focused working environment Uphold Fairmont grooming, communication, and service standards at all times Qualifications 1 year of housekeeping or cleaning experience, ideally within a luxury hotel environment Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering exceptional standards Understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and room presentation Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations, including COSHH (training can be provided) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time‑management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks Professional, courteous, and guest‑focused attitude Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including manual handling A passion for luxury hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Additional Information What is in it for you?
