HOUSEKEEPING ROOM ATTENDANT

We are currently looking for a Part - Time Housekeeping Room Attendant. The Room Attendant performs routine duties in the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and bathrooms under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Executive Housekeeper. The Room Attendant is expected to promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly, and able to address guest requests and problems.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper and/or designate, the Room Attendant is responsible for:

  • Enters and prepares the room for cleaning;
  • Makes the bed(s) according to hotel standards;
  • Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies;
  • Delivers and retrieves items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards;
  • Performs rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) as required;
  • Maintains work area and equipment according to hotel standards;
  • Attends to guest calls, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to him;
  • Responsible for achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction;
  • Other duties as assigned.
