ROOM ATTENDANT

As a Room Attendant, you are the face of The Kontiki and you play a key role in creating an unforgettable experience. You will take care of the daily turndown service of The Kontiki. Together with the housekeeping team, you will ensure that all Rooms, suites and public areas are clean and spotless and that The Kontiki standards are safeguarded

  • Preferably several years of experience in a similar position.

  • Looks impeccable (presentation).
  • You have spoken and written knowledge of the Dutch and English language. (Spanish and Papiamentu are also desired).
Responsibilities

As a Room Attendant you are responsible for:
· Taking care of the daily turndown service.
· Cleaning of rooms.
· Making beds and changing linen if necessary.
· Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and toilets.
· Disposal of waste and used crockery and new places if necessary.
· Placing special requests from the guest on the suites.
· Organizing the necessary preparations per suite.
· Checking the arrival suites.
· Assisting guests where necessary (luggage, opening doors, etc.)
· Follow-up of processed requests.
· Stock management of the department.
· Guidance and training of new staff.
· Identify special situations and incidents.
· Replenishment of the minibars in the suites if necessary.
· Improving the cleaning service.
· Maintaining the quality of service (guest experience).
· Ensuring the representative condition of facilities.
· Monitoring procedures of Bon Bini.
