JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas, ensuring an exceptional experience for all visitors. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing outstanding service in a hotel environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
  • Experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Available for weekdays, weekends, holidays and evenings as and when required.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, and living areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
  • Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces to maintain pristine conditions throughout the property.
  • Replace linens, towels, and other amenities as needed to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist with the organization of housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Collaborate with other team members to uphold the hotel’s standards of hospitality and service.
