Description Built in 1937, Timberline Lodge has always been a grand refuge for visitors wanting to experience the magnificent and expansive high-alpine environment of Mt. Hood. Work with housekeeping staff to complete assigned duties in a timely fashion. Complete end of day duties, ensure housekeeping room is clean at end of shift. Uphold RLK's Perfect Room Standards at all times. Essential Functions Clean assigned rooms to the Perfect Room Standard in a reasonable fashion. Complete end of day duties as assigned. Communicate effectively with Inspectors and Managers regarding maintenance and room issues. Answer guest inquiries in polite manner. Vacuum assigned hallways when rooms have been completed. Assist with Lodge Attendant duties as assigned. Present a professional, quality image at all times. Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present. Regular and reliable attendance. Requirements Must be detail oriented with ability to set and meet high room standards. Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests. Must have thorough knowledge of resort services. Must know and follow proper employee and Housekeeping procedures. Must successfully complete BBP training. Must be able to work independently while also being a team player. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling. Must be able to work in tight spaces. Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department.
Responsibilities
Staff will work with housekeeping to complete assigned duties in a timely manner, ensuring assigned rooms meet the Perfect Room Standard and completing end-of-day tasks. Responsibilities also include communicating maintenance issues, answering guest inquiries politely, and maintaining a professional image.
