Key Accountabilities…

  • As a Room Attendants - you’ll make sure the rooms/suites/apartments are always “fresh and welcoming” for all guests after a busy day at work - creating a haven for them to escape and relax in - or get a bit of last minute work done.
  • You’ll make sure our rooms are always at their best - we have standards - but it’s down to you to make that room special and creating a memorable one for our guest.
  • Help guests - you’ll be happy to help if someone needs a toothbrush or directions
  • Keep your supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed
  • Safety aware - always follow our established safety procedures - and wear protective equipment when needed
  • Be organized - keep on top of supplies and amenities and always try to minimise waste
  • Reunite items with owners - and log any lost and found property
  • Look smart - wear your uniform and name badge with pride
  • Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service

To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following skills and attributes:

  • It’s physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
  • Strength - able to lift, push and pull at a moderate weight
  • You might need to bend and kneel to complete some activities
  • Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic communication skills
  • Flexible attitudes to shifts- you MUST have at least 3 days per week to work on a rotating roster starting from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Hours will vary depending on hotel occupancy
  • Take pride in customer service
  • Be respectful and take accountability for yourself and your work
  • Possess Australian working right
