We are looking for a full time, Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join our Bright Horizons Tooting Looking Glass Day Nursery situated in Tooting Bec, SW17 6AT. The role is based in the baby room.
Our fabulous nursery is conveniently located near Tooting Bec common, a 10-minute walk from Tooting Bec Station.
The nursery features six rooms, including a sleep room for babies, a wellness room for activities like yoga and dancing, a sensory room, and an on-site library.
The garden has four individually designed areas for different age groups, with climbing frames and age-specific resources
The staff at Tooting Looking Glass Nursery speak 14 languages, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. The nursery also has a dedicated parent’s room for catching up on children’s progress over a hot drink.,

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
  • Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
  • Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
