Happy Phases is seeks a flexible, enthusiastic person who loves and enjoys working with children from 1 to 3 years old to join our Pre-school team on a full time basis as our Room Leader for our Wobbler Toddler Room in our Dublin 12 based Early Years Service.

The successful applicant will

• Be responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of the Wobbler Toddler Room which involves meeting the care and education needs of five young children
• Have working knowledge of Aistear and Síólta, and be competent in implementing both frameworks.
• Timely upkeep of all relevant paperwork
• Have a sufficient knowledge of Early Years legislation and ensure it is incorporated every day.
• Support students and volunteers

Garda Vetting will be required and applied for on successful application.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must hold Childcare Qualification of level 7 upwards on the National Framework of Qualifications. Qualifications must be in English. Please refer to https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/297c05-early-years-recognised-qualifications/
• Police Clearance (transcribed into English) is essential if candidates have lived outside the state of Ireland following their 18th birthday for all countries they have lived in for more than 6 months.
• Two references/statement of employment are required - they must be childcare related and be from the two most recent posts held in the Early Years sector
• A minimum of two years working within an Early Years Service in Ireland with children aged 1 to 3 years of age is essential.
• Fluent English is necessary - spoken, aural and written.
• A work permit to work in Ireland on a full time basis
