We are seeking an enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team at Hurstbridge Children's Centre. Welcome to Hurstbridge Children’s Centre, a warm and welcoming childcare service located in Hurstbridge’s state-of-the-art community hub. We provide high-quality, inclusive early education and care for children aged three months to five years. Our experienced educators partner with families to create play-based learning programs that nurture each child’s interests and help them reach their full potential. Children develop essential social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive skills in a safe, secure, and happy environment. About you You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference. You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child. You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations. You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first aid certificate. About the role You’ll develop a high-quality educational program for the 3/4-year-old program in consultation with children, families and educators to achieve agreed outcomes for children. You'll create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow. You'll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework. You'll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues. You'll actively participate in a culture of reflection and continuous improvement.
