ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Room Leader, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can thrive. You will:

• Lead by Example: Set the standard in providing high-quality care and education, fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Design Engaging Learning Experiences: Develop and implement age-appropriate, creative, and inclusive activities that inspire children’s curiosity and growth.
• Maintain a Safe and Inclusive Space: Support children’s physical and emotional wellbeing, ensuring a space that celebrates diversity and makes everyone feel included.
• Collaborate and Mentor: Work closely with team members, sharing knowledge and guidance to foster a strong, supportive team culture.

TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards it) or equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA.
• Demonstrated experience working with children in an early education setting.
• Leadership qualities with a passion for inspiring young minds and nurturing their growth.
• A current Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR certification.
• A commitment to ongoing learning, development, and inclusivity in the workplace.
