We are a small chain of family run nurseries in London and the South East. In our Thatcham nursery we are currently recruiting for a Room Leader.
This position would ideally suit a current Room Leader who is looking to progress their career into management. You must hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
Key reponsibilities of the Room Leader role are:
- manage a staff team (of up to 6 staff), ensuring staff shifts and lunches are covered
- have excellent knowledge of the EYFS and be able to share this information with your team
- build strong relationships with existing parents and prospective parents
- join in Room Leader meetings
- Support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager as and when required.
- Be a role model for your staff
- Following company policy and procedures at all times
- Follow our safe guarding policy at all times
The role is a full time position working 40 or 45 hours a week between the hours of 7:30am and 6:30pm.
Due to the nature of the position the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide two satisfactory references, one from their most recent employer.

Pay: £30,160.00-£33,930.00 per year
