OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Room Leader to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood development.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff
  • Strong leadership abilities to lead and motivate a team of nursery staff
  • Time management skills to organise daily activities and routines efficiently
  • Previous experience in a nursery setting or early years education is desirable
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities would be advantageous for effective communication with diverse families

EDUCATION:

  • NVQ 3/Diploma in Early Years
  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
  • SENCO L3 (preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Nursery: 2 years (preferred)
  • Childcare: 2 years (preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nursery staff in delivering engaging activities and educational programmes
  • Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times
  • Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum effectively
  • Communicate with parents regarding their child’s progress and well-being
  • Manage the nursery room’s daily operations, including maintaining a safe and stimulating environment
  • Support staff in planning and delivering age-appropriate learning experiences
