We are currently seeking a part time Room Service to join our Outlets team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• To be on the floor, uniformed and informed of daily events, ready to start scheduled shift
• Ensure that only a quality product is being served
• Carry out food service as per Sheraton Parkway standards
• To have a complete knowledge of the wine list, menu, and other sales items
• To provide professional and efficient food & beverage service
• To process guest checks in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
• Suggestively sell menu items on a continual basis
• Take orders accurately and ring in MICROS P.O.S. to standard
• Provide all guests with an accurate bill - check it twice
• Provide prompt and accurate change for cash/ room charge, credit or debit card processing
• Perform closing duties to standard
• Perform an accurate and timely cash out
• Other duties as may be assigned by the F&B Supervisor, Outlets Manager, Director of Food & Beverage and/or General Manager

Job Requirements:

• Must have valid SmartServe certification
• Must have a minimum of 1 year serving experience in full service restaurant
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must portray a friendly, warm and welcoming demeanour at all times
• Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests and employees
• Must have the ability to read and write English
• Must be flexible with shift availability: breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekends, holidays
