Job Details Job Location: 6633 MAIN STREET - MACKINAC ISLAND, MI Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: Undisclosed Job Category: Hospitality - Hotel Description THIS IS FULL-TIME, YEAR ROUND POSITION LOCATED ON MACKINAC ISLAND, MI. **THIS POSITION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR H2B APPLICANTS** Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Resort Maintenance Technician. This full time/year round position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, benefits, and numerous other perks. The ideal applicant will have one or more years of experience in maintenance preferably at a hotel or resort, and have experience working in a multi-cultural environment. Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in facilities maintenance preferred A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required Working knowledge of routine maintenance processes and procedures Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the department Proactive approach, with exceptional initiative and problem solving abilities to ensure the highest level of productivity. Responsibilities
The Room Technician is responsible for maintaining the resort's facilities to ensure a high level of productivity and guest satisfaction. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks and addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner.
