As part of the Reservations team, the Rooms Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring every guest stay is seamless — managing room types, memberships, preferences, and special requests with precision. Your day to day Ensure a seamless guest experience by coordinating room allocations, VIP arrivals, and special requests. Liaise with Housekeeping and Food & Beverage teams to prioritise room readiness and amenities. Maintain accurate guest profiles, preferences, and IHG Rewards Club or Ambassador membership details. Manage room inventory, including Out of Service and Out of Order rooms, and process reservation amendments. Monitor and communicate daily room status updates, VIP lists, and upcoming arrivals to relevant departments. Support the Front Office team by assisting guests promptly and efficiently, ensuring personalised service. Promote IHG products and services through up-selling and membership enrolments. Uphold guest privacy, safety, and brand standards at all times. What we need from you Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company. Proven communication skills across, phone, email & face to face style interactions Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities. Proactive approach, with strong drive for team results and a track record of achievement Good Communication and writing skills Flexible and adaptable; this is not a standard 9–5 reservations role and requires availability to be rostered across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as needed. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management or equivalent
