Position Summary Tacten is seeking a Rope Access Journeyperson Insulator to support our client site CNRL Albian in Fort McMurray, AB! As a Rope Access Insulator, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety. Project Details: Site: CNRL Albian Shift/Rotation: Long-Term Maintenance Work - 14/14 Rotation, 11.5 hour shifts at Straight Time Camp Accommodations & FIFO from all major local city hubs in Canada provided Start Date: Immediate Responsibilities Install insulation materials, such as foam, fiberglass, or mineral wool, to prevent heat transfer, reduce energy consumption, or control sound. Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas. Secure insulation in place using appropriate fasteners and adhesives. Regularly inspect insulation for signs of wear, damage, or degradation. Replace or repair insulation that has become compromised. Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance insulation performance. Consult with clients or project managers to determine insulation needs based on factors like temperature requirements, acoustic considerations, or electrical insulation needs. Provide recommendations on the most suitable insulation materials and techniques for different environments. Collaborate with construction or maintenance teams to ensure proper installation according to specifications. Requirements Journeyman Insulator or equivalent hours required IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain. Ability to hire those with IRATA Level 2 and 3 as well.
