  POSITION SUMMARY The Rope Access Level I Technician is responsible for performing various crafts while accessing area via ropes. A Rope Access Level I Technician may only work under the direct, on-site supervision of a Rope Access Lead Technician or Supervisor (Level II or Level III). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (This is a representative list of the duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.) * Have an unwavering commitment to Safety * Conduct behavioral based safety observations  * Participate in daily JSEA planning discussion * Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a SPRAT or IRATA Level I RA Technician * Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques * Ensure operational safety of all equipment * Assist other technicians as required * Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by supervision or management * Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions  * Actively participate in client safety initiatives, incident investigations, etc.  * Demonstrates strong adherence to Company policies and procedures, as well as Company values * Perform other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS  * High School Diploma or equivalent education * Must possess an active SPRAT or IRATA Level I Certification  * Must demonstrate proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling * Valid TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) * Basic written and verbal skills * Ability to perform work accurately * Must be reliable and have good time management skills * Physically and mentally fit * Ability to work productively in adverse conditions * Preferred technician with a combined knowledge & experience reading blueprints, adjusting, assembling, fabricating, & bolting components together * For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen * For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
