Mō te tūranga | About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Roster Coordinator to become an essential member of our team. As part of a team of five, you will be responsible for deploying staff resources within rosters to ensure the needs of the people we support are met. This role is crucial to our organisation’s success, so we are looking for someone who can build strong relationships with the staff to ensure engagement and help us maximise our exceptionally talented employees. Duties include: Working collaboratively with the Roster Team to ensure rosters are maintained Co-ordinate and manage rosters to ensure they are appropriately staffed at all times Receive last minute leave requests (sick, bereavement, discretionary etc) and provide effective rostering solutions for these Record and provide accurate occurrence logs throughout each shift Nga haora kua tohua | Rostered hours: This is a permanent role, with regular opportunities to pick up additional hours within the team. The rostered hours outlined below are fixed term until the end of May 2027, covering parental leave. After this time, the hours may change; however, permanent hours will continue to be available within the team. We have two roster options available. OPTION A fortnightly roster: Sunday: 6:30am-4pm (1hr break 12-1pm) Monday: 6:30am-5pm (1hr break 12-1pm) Total hours = 36 per fortnight OPTION B fortnightly roster: Sunday: 6:30am-4pm (1hr break 12-1pm) Thursday: 6:30am-5pm (1hr break 12-1pm) Total hours = 36 per fortnight There is also the option to pick up one additional afternoon shift (1:00pm – 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday) per week, increasing total hours to 44 per fortnight.
