JOB SUMMARY:

Clinical Rota scheduling as set out, but not limited to, Job Responsibilities. The role centres around the effective planning and oversight of the Nursing Teams across Granta’s six sites. This role also includes the effective planning of our Extended Hours services.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Staff scheduling and Rota Application of Nursing Teams across Granta’s six sites troubleshooting and problem solving areas of concern
  • Ensure all Nursing Study/Annual Leave requests are noted, as agreed by the Nurse Manager, and conflicts dealt with or reported back as appropriate
  • Schedule clinical staffing and apply rotas for Extended Access sessions ensuring weekly targets are met
  • Rota application for a number of support Staff/Teams ie: Social Navigators, First Contact Physiotherapy & Midwife Teams
  • Cancelling on the day appointments across all Clinical Teams reporting any staffing issues back to the Rota Co-ordinator/Duty Manager. Liaising with all sites regarding unexpected absences relating to that location
  • Clinical Room Bookings for Granta’s 6 sites
  • To assist in day to day problem solving regarding any rota conflicts/issues that arise
  • Any other duties as requested by the Lead Rota Co-ordinator.
