ABOUT US:

OZ Shower Doors Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and installer of shower enclosures, mirrors, and glass products in Alberta. Our Edmonton workshop is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Rotary Equipment Installation Journeyman to join our team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, integrating, and commissioning rotary and glass-processing equipment at our workshop. This includes mechanical installation, electrical hookups, and ensuring that all equipment is operational to specification. Maintenance and troubleshooting experience is considered a strong asset.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Journeyman certification in a relevant trade (Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial or rotary equipment installation.
  • Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical integration.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.
  • Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of similar equipment (asset).
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
  • Install and commission workshop machinery, including:
  • Air compressors
  • CNC glass cutting machines
  • Glass beveling machines
  • Glass polishing machines
  • Perform mechanical assembly, alignment, and calibration of equipment.
  • Ensure electrical hookups in compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.
  • Integrate mechanical and electrical systems for optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct initial testing and verify operational readiness.
  • Provide basic operator training to in-house staff.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
  • Maintain accurate installation and service records.
