Description
Pump troubleshooting and repair. Compressor troubleshooting and repair. Valve repair. Electrical motor troubleshooting and repair. Turbine troubleshooting and repair. Relief valve repair. Rotating equipment performance testing. Rotating equipment re-design and installations. Coupling repair. Machine shop equipment operation, including lathe, milling machines, boring machines, lapping machines, balance machines, drill presses etc. Rotating equipment parts identification and ordering. Knowledge in oxy/acetylene setup. Work associated with this position is done outdoors year-round. The position works with other Maintenance crafts, Reliability, Operations and Engineering on a daily basis. This position requires driving on a routine basis. The position will typically work a 4/10 dayshift work schedule. Typical shifts are M-Th, or T-F, but can very based on work needs. Occasional shift work is required. The position can also be called out after normal hours as needed. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's license. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related industry, or an Apprenticeship or Certificate from a trade or Technical School, with experience. Must have a proven safety record and be familiar with OSHA requirements for the trade. Must be familiar with isometric and structural drawings. Must be familiar with basic maintenance practices, engineering and process design of a refinery or similar facility. Refinery experience. Must have strong team and communication skills. Knowledgeable in pump, compressor, and turbine troubleshooting and repair, valve repair, and electrical motor troubleshooting and repair.
