Salary: £31,537 - £33,699 per annum Hours per week: 37 hours Interview date: To be confirmed after shortlisting Our Rough Sleeper Team is a frontline service that provides a holistic service to support individuals sleeping rough. It is a fast-paced environment at the forefront of delivering services to the public daily across the County. The Rough Sleeper Navigator works with a case load to deliver trauma informed support in our self-contained units, as well as supporting individuals who we have successfully moved on into independent accommodation. Using a trauma-informed approach, you will offer practical and compassionate support within a team to ensure a safe and positive experience for clients. This role helps clients move from short-term stays to long-term housing, addressing benefits, health, finances, and personal goals. Your aim is to help clients overcome the challenges of modern living after experiencing life on the streets. The role will also support to deliver outreach support to people sleeping rough and you will support in the delivery of the early morning outreach sessions to engage and support with those bedding down. We are seeking a proactive, client-centred individual with the ability to handle challenging clients and build partnerships. You should possess knowledge or a keen interest to learn welfare benefits, budgeting, and an understanding of issues faced by homeless or vulnerable individuals.
