JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism while on the road. The Route Driver will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while maintaining a positive relationship with our customers.

REQUIREMENTS

*Class 3 drivers license
*TDG Certification, or willingness to obtain
*Sales experience considered an asset
*WHMIS Certification, or willingness to obtain
*Forklift Certification, or willingness to obtain
*Ability to operate heavy trucks
*Ability to lift boxes (50 lb.)
*Dependability , organizational skills, and attention to detail are required for this position
Base Salary - $ 60,000/ yr
*Plus ​c​​​​omission based on gross profit

• Sales: 3 years (preferred)

*Travel to customer locations on scheduled routes
*Discuss new products, upgrades and additional purchases with customers
*Perform sales touch bases
*Maintain truck inventory for customers as needed on your scheduled routes
*Complete bills /receipts / documentation with care and accuracy
*Maintain cleanliness of interior / exterior of your route trucks
*Operate commercial vehicles with professionalism
*Other duties as assigned, i.e.: shop, warehouse , shipping
