Description S&S Tire, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer, is seeking to add an experienced Route Driver to the team. This position requires recent DOT driving experience. Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to: Delivering tires to customers - safely operating 16' to 28' box trucks Pulling and loading tires Use of a handheld device to write up inventory Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed when necessary Providing excellent customer service Requirements What You Bring: Must be able to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance Frequent bending, twisting and lifting Must be willing, and have the ability to, to operate all warehouse related equipment Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and 23 years of age Good vehicle safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years) Valid driver's license - in good standing Forklift license is a plus What We Offer: Compensation starting at $18-22 per hour, based on experience Full-time position with weekly pay, offering frequent overtime Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4:30pm Health Benefits: Medical, Dental Vision, Life insurance, and more 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company matching Paid Vacation and Holidays An Equal Opportunity Employer Drug-Free Workplace About S&S Tire: S&S Firestone, Inc., headquartered in Lexington, KY, has grown to become one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the country. Responsibilities

The Route Driver will be responsible for safely delivering tires to customers using 16' to 28' box trucks, which includes pulling and loading tires and using a handheld device for inventory write-ups. After deliveries are complete, the driver will assist in the warehouse as needed while providing excellent customer service.
