Description S&S Tire, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer, is seeking to add an experienced Route Driver to the Louisville team. If you are a true professional, with superior skills, apply today! Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to: Delivering tires to customers - safely operating 16' to 28' box trucks Pulling and loading tires Use of a handheld device to write up inventory Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed when necessary Requirements What You Bring: Must be able to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance Frequent bending, twisting and lifting Must be willing, and have the ability to, to operate all warehouse related equipment Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and 23 years of age Good vehicle safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years) Valid driver's license - in good standing Forklift license is a plus We Offer: Compensation starting at $17.00 per hour, based on experience Full-time position with weekly pay, offering frequent overtime Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm Health Benefits: Medical, Dental Vision, Life insurance, and more 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company matching Paid Vacation and Holidays An Equal Opportunity Employer Drug-Free Workplace About S&S Tire: S&S Firestone, Inc., headquartered in Lexington, KY, has grown to become one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the country. Responsibilities
