Description S&S Tire, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer, is seeking to add an experienced Route Driver to the Nashville Wholesale team. This position requires a F Endorsement. Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to: Delivering tires to customers - safely operating 16' to 28' box trucks Pulling and loading tires Use of a handheld device to write up inventory Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed, when necessary What We Offer: Compensation starting at $19.50 per hour, based on experience Full-time position with weekly pay, offering frequent overtime Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30am-2:30pm Health Benefits: Medical, Dental Vision, Life insurance, and more 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company matching An Equal Opportunity Employer Drug-Free Workplace Requirements What You Bring Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and 23 years of age Good vehicle safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years) Valid driver's license - in good standing Forklift license is a plus F Endorsement required About S&S Tire: S&S Firestone, Inc., headquartered in Lexington, KY, has grown to become one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the country. Responsibilities
The Route Driver is responsible for delivering tires to customers while safely operating box trucks. Additional duties include pulling and loading tires and assisting in the warehouse as needed.
