Description

Description S&S Tire of Lexington, KY, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer, is seeking to add an experienced Route Driver to the team. This position requires recent DOT driving experience. If you are a true professional, with superior skills, you need to apply today! Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to: · Delivering tires to customers - safely operating 16' to 28' box trucks · Pulling and loading tires · Use of a handheld device to write up inventory · Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed when necessary Requirements Requirements · Must be able to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance · Frequent bending, twisting and lifting · Must be willing, and have the ability to, to operate all warehouse related equipment · Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and 23 years of age · Good vehicle safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years) · Valid driver's license - in good standing · Forklift license is a plus We Offer: · Compensation starting at $17.50 per hour, based on experience · Full-time position with weekly pay, offering frequent overtime · Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm · Health Benefits: Medical, Dental Vision, Life insurance, and more · 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company matching · Paid Vacation and Holidays · An Equal Opportunity Employer · Drug-Free Workplace
