Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Route Engineer (Roads O&M) to join our organization in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of road networks, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and compliance with established standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of assigned road routes to identify maintenance needs, defects, and safety hazards Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal road conditions and minimize disruptions Analyze road performance data and maintenance metrics to optimize operations and identify areas for improvement Coordinate with contractors and maintenance teams to execute repairs, resurfacing, and preventive maintenance activities Monitor budget allocation and control maintenance costs while ensuring quality standards are met Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation on road conditions, maintenance activities, and project outcomes Ensure compliance with Qatar's road infrastructure standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements Manage maintenance management systems and update records with accurate project information and asset data Investigate road failures and accidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures Qualifications Proven experience in road maintenance, operations, or civil engineering Strong knowledge of road maintenance standards, safety protocols, and best practices Proficiency with maintenance management systems and asset management software Solid understanding of pavement management and road infrastructure systems Knowledge of Qatar's road infrastructure standards and local climate considerations Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams Additional Information Business Line: Consulting and Operations Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: OnM Operations Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Operations and Maintenance - Operational
