Agrai-Dairy Mart, Ltd. is a fast-growing milking and dairy barn equipment dealer with three locations covering all of Alberta. We specialize in full sales, installation and servicing of the following product lines: DeLaval, Nuhn, inBarn, JOZ, and Sun-North Systems.
We are currently looking to hire a permanent, full-time Route Sales Delivery Driver to work out of our shop located in Lethbridge, AB. This is a sales position responsible for providing exceptional delivery service to all our customers within the sales route area.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Class 5 License. Air endorsement not required.
  • TDG certification or the ability to obtain the certification when hired.
  • WHMIS certified.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Proven work experience as a truck driver.
  • Proven safe driving habits.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Self-Motivated to organize and plan routes, and maintain a reliable schedule for customer deliveries.
  • Dairy industry experience would be a strong asset.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $24.00-$34.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Transporting dairy parts, equipment, supplies and bulk chemicals via 5 ton truck to dairy farms located in the South Alberta route sales area.
  • Unloading product to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
  • Provide customer service and establish/maintain positive working relationships with account customers.
  • Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance; following safety requirements.
  • Reporting to management.
  • Plan routes to effectively meet delivery schedules.
  • Completing all necessary paperwork fully and accurately.
  • Refilling chemical barrels from totes.
  • Additional responsibilities include unloading and loading trucks, equipment/warehouse maintenance, inventory control, production record keeping, fork truck operation
