Description
Description Responsible to build relationships to maximize sales objectives and provide excellent customer service to each account. Required to ensure that product is up to code and is rotated per company standard, while adhering to inventory levels. This position covers all PTO and open routes as a back-up to the RSR. Functions: Responsible to load and unload product on and off the truck Promote safety and safe behaviors. Supports all routes providing coverage during vacations, sick days, transitional periods, and support during peak volume periods. Sell and deliver Power Play and partner brands to grocery stores which may include working with large retail grocery chains as well as regional and independent grocery stores. Merchandise, fill, and rotate product on all accounts, while maintaining proper inventory levels Complete daily/weekly paperwork Maintain product display space, set-up new promotional display space, merchandise, and rotate product. Maintain DOT rules and regulations. Target and help develop new accounts by having one on one communication with the Store Manager or Owner of the Business DOT and safety compliance Responsible to maintain DOT card and CDL license with air brakes. Maintain condition and appearance of delivery truck. Execute company sales plan objectives. Perform other duties as assigned. May require some regional travel. Employee assistance program Requirements High School diploma or GED Ability to obtain Class “B” CDL license with air brakes and current medical DOT card Must be able to work with confidential company information. Must be able to walk, balance, bend, climb stairs, kneel, push, pull, lift, and move material up to 25 to 45 pounds, often in difficult work positions such as reaching above the shoulder. Minimum of 3 years CDL experience preferred.
