Job Overview: Rentals To Go is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator who will serve as a key player in both customer service and dispatch operations. This position combines front-line customer support with logistical coordination to ensure a seamless experience for our customers from inquiry to delivery. The ideal candidate will handle inbound and outbound communication across multiple channels (phone and email), provide exceptional service, resolve concerns quickly and professionally, and support the in-bound sales process. In addition, when needed, they will be responsible for daily dispatch activities, creating, monitoring, and adjusting routes to ensure efficient use of drivers, trucks, and equipment. The candidate must be willing and able to float between both customer care and dispatch duties as needed to support the team and ensure smooth operations. Flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork are key to success in this role. This position requires strong communication skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A clear understanding of RTG’s service model, systems, and product offerings as well as the ability to adapt and prioritize. This is essential to success in this role. Responsibilities: Utilize company software to plan, prepare, and assign routes to the appropriate drivers and trucks for daily operations. Monitor and manage driver activity to ensure timely and complete service along assigned routes. Dispatch drivers to service calls as they are received, balancing customer needs, driver locations, workloads, and cost-efficiency. Respond promptly to customer and driver inquiries via phone and email, resolving service issues with professionalism and urgency. Communicate service delays or changes to customers in line with company standards. Collaborate with internal departments to manage area-specific and equipment-specific customer requests. Track and report driver performance concerns management for resolution. Support operational efficiency by achieving or exceeding company productivity goals. Participate in ongoing training to expand knowledge of company systems, products, and services. Uphold Rentals To Go’s mission, vision, and core values through all interactions and responsibilities. Requirements Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1–2 years of customer care or related experience preferred. Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and team members. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
