Start YOUR career with DHL today… We are looking for a Routing & Capacity Coordinator based in Diegem, Belgium. What’s your challenge? Long term capacity and routing planning for the ESU network by analyzing current and future network structures and coordinating network changes throughout the region with the countries. How will you contribute to the success of DHL? Permanent optimization of the long-term ESU road network. Coordinate and implement network improvements coming out of the Optano-tool. Migrate ESU volume flows from the domestic platforms into the ESU international road network. Initiate specific improvement projects together with the countries in order to enhance the network competitiveness. Develop seasonal schedules based on forecasts received from regional and country organizations. Respond to specific requests in relation to service/cost capabilities associated with new business. Assist EU Road Operations in contingency operations planning and implementation in response to abnormal events (strikes, weather problems etc.) effecting standard network operations. Develop, control and communicate routing and scheduling instructions or changes. Monitor and report on the effect of routing changes on service performance and act upon any weaknesses that are identified by providing solutions. Provide support for specific customers. Do you have what it takes? You possess strong analytical skills, a high degree of numeracy and an advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint. You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Dutch. Knowledge of road transportation legislation and industry can be an asset. Your soft skills are : diplomatic, self starter, team player and excellent interpersonal skills.
