JOIN OUR TEAM AT VG BUILDERS LTD

We are a well-established, family-run specialist main contractor with a proud history dating back to 1980. Based in Forest Row, VG Builders Ltd delivers high-quality structural repairs, passive fire protection, renovations, reactive maintenance, and insurance repair works across the South East of England.
Trusted and accredited by CHAS Elite, CPA, SafeContractor and more, we have built a strong reputation for excellence, safety, and craftsmanship. Our clients span both the public and private sectors, including homeowners, insurers, housing associations, and commercial organisations.
We are now looking for a Roving Foreman to support our expanding insurance sector. This is a varied and rewarding role, working closely with our Project Coordinators, Contracts Managers, and Quantity Surveyors. It’s ideally suited to someone who thrives on multitasking, problem-solving, and being at the heart of day-to-day operations.
As a Roving Foreman, you will take responsibility for overseeing and managing daily operations across multiple sites. The role involves supervising operatives, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining high-quality workmanship, and acting as a key point of contact between policyholders, insurers, and our internal contracts team. The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable with regular travel.
We are looking for someone on a self-employed basis with the potential to become employed in the future.
