In this role, you’ll lead the seamless integration of healthcare systems, ensuring that vital information flows where it’s needed most. This is more than code—it’s care delivery at its finest.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years in systems integration, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
  • 2+ years working with healthcare systems (EHRs, pharmacy platforms, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and compliance practices (HIPAA).

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Proficient in REST API development, scripting (Python, PowerShell, SQL), and ETL processes.
  • Experience with relational databases and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design and implement robust system integrations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations across platforms using REST APIs, ETL tools, and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or SQL.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on internal data flows, application behavior, and external system interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable integration solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure continuous system performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integration processes.
  • Assist in system upgrades, data migrations, and application enhancements.
  • Develop automation tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare regulatory standards.
