POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Director IT, this role supports the development, maintenance, and integration of iSeries applications with an emphasis on EDI transactions. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of developers working on key internal systems and business-critical interfaces.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with RPGIV, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CL in an IBM i environment
• Strong understanding of free-format RPG and modular programming concepts
• Proven experience working with EDI formats and workflows (e.g., X12, EDIFACT)
• Familiarity with EDI translation/mapping tools (experience with BizLink is an asset)
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working both independently and within a team

• Develop and maintain applications using RPGLE, RPGIV, SQLRPGLE, and CL on IBM iSeries
• Build and support EDI transactions and integrations
• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications and interfaces
• Collaborate with end users to gather and clarify requirements
• Write clear documentation for developed code and processes
• Conduct thorough testing of new features and bug fixes
• Support project planning and estimation
