Qualifications At least 10 years of solution architecture experience in a leadership capacity, gained in a complex technological environment, paired with post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Math (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Demonstrated hands-on knowledge in solution architecture design and system integration, including but not limited to specification, configuration, and implementation. Knowledge and experience in Salesforce platform (experience cloud, service cloud, Agentforce etc) and related solutions. Knowledge and experience in industry popular web platforms and frameworks. Knowledge and experience in integration design through middleware/API. Strong customer service orientation and a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and manage client deliverables and expectations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; Both technical and non-technical. Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration specifications, knowledge articles, and deployment procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Assignment of Duties Assess City’s existing technology solution landscape and architecture, with a focus on public-facing digital solutions. Develop City’s target public-facing solution architecture. Ensure architecture design aligns with business goals and objectives. Stakeholder management including communicating complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way, and consensus building Deliverables Solution architecture design documentation. Responsibilities
