AMANST Inc. is looking for Senior Software Developer - Full Stack for a contract opportunity with Government of Ontario.

Location: Hybrid - Candidate MUST work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

GENERAL SKILLS:

· Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

· Proficient with both front-end and back-end development, including associated areas such as database design/management and DevOps.
· Knowledge and experience with design and implementation of the overall web architecture.
· Experience with implementation of approved user interface, design, and deployment of database.
· Knowledge and experience ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
· Knowledge and experience with the design and construction of REST API services.
· Knowledge and experience integrating front-end UI with the constructed API.
· Knowledge and experience in design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment.
· Knowledge and experience in Angular, React, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Spring Boot, Java, and ASP.Net Core.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE – 50%

· Angular, React, Java, Spring Boot knowledge and experience
· Technical architectural support
· Technical solutioning and support for project/tech leads
· Agile development practices and methodologies
· Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks

BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILL – 15%

· Project Management Skills (i.e., effort estimation, project plan, risk/issue management, solutions presentation, etc.)
· Business and end-user engagement
· Business requirement analysis, options analysis, and recommendation

· Translate business requirements into working, tested applications, including developing detailed programming specifications, writing/generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
· Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.
