The RRT provides routine and advanced respiratory care responsibilities which include infant, pediatric and adult patient care. (This differential may be adjusted or discontinued based on business requirements.) Qualifications BLS Required at Time of Hire. Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy required Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Security Technician plus BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required. Responsibilities Performs advanced airway care, including intubation, extubation, and tracheotomy care for infants, pediatric, and adult patients. Proficient in using High Flow therapy, BPAP/CPAP, ventilators, and Bubble CPAP for all age groups. Conducts electrocardiograms on infants, pediatric, and adult patients in various hospital areas, including the Emergency Department, L&D, nursery, ICU, MedSurg, and PMG. Implements cardiopulmonary modalities and protocols for infant, pediatric, and adult patients. May perform pulmonary function testing, Holter monitor placement, and cardiac stress testing in the Pulmonary department. Completes departmental-specific duties. Responsibilities

The RRT performs advanced airway care and conducts electrocardiograms for patients of all ages. They implement cardiopulmonary modalities and protocols and may perform additional testing in the Pulmonary department.
