Description

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

This is a role for a builder—someone who thrives in a creative, fast-moving environment and loves turning challenges into opportunities. You’re both strategic and scrappy, equally comfortable on the floor and in leadership discussions.

We’re seeking candidates with:

  • 5–10+ years of experience in operations, fabrication, or construction-related fields
  • Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate across departments and vendors
  • Background in experiential, exhibit, event, or custom construction is strongly preferred
  • Hands-on leadership style — no task too small
  • Familiar with materials, build processes, and timelines of physical production
  • Experience with budgeting, purchasing, and quoting
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Proficient in MS Office and email communication tools
  • Excellent problem solver who thrives under pressure
  • Prefer a Degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • Seeking longevity in past roles and readiness to grow with a company
  • Interest in long-term leadership with potential for profit participation
Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Oversee active production of 3–5 concurrent projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Manage all fabrication and outsourcing, including materials, vendor quotes, quality control, and scheduling
  • Lead and support the shop team (7+ employees), promoting accountability, morale, and efficiency
  • Direct project workflows from post-sale through installation, return, and asset storage
  • Troubleshoot and solve fabrication challenges using a hands-on, creative approach
  • Collaborate with design and project management teams to translate creative ideas into physical realities
  • Own and optimize inventory, materials flow, and vendor relationships
  • Maintain visibility across timelines, costs, and workforce needs for every job
  • Identify and implement systems to improve communication, transparency, and operational structure
  • Support hiring and team development for shop, detailing, and support roles
  • Report to the CEO and help reduce bottlenecks by assuming daily ops responsibility
  • Managing and coordinating external vendors, contractors, and logistics partners
  • Ensuring quality standards, efficiency, and on-time delivery across all projects
  • Implementing tools and processes to streamline workflows and support scale
  • Managing procurement, inventory, and resource allocation
  • Supporting workforce planning, hiring, and development efforts
