Job Description Based in Jerusalem, you will be part of our Urban Railway / LRT projects in Jerusalem and our other future transportation projects in Israel. You will lead the area of rolling stock, providing high-level advice and be responsible for the supervision of implementation of new rolling stock on the Blue Line running on all the Jerusalem LRT Network. Under responsibility of the Head of the Systems, your activities will include but not be limited to: Review the design documentation produced by the contractor for Rolling Stock works and construction activities to verify their consistency with the Tendering specifications, the international standards and the state of the art. Prepare Documents Review Sheets (DRS). Follow up the construction, delivery and tests of the whole fleet Provide regular support to the public transport client regarding project activities. Participate and coordinate the meetings regarding rolling stock activities such as design reviews, interfacing and testing supervision at contractor/sub-contractors and customer’s sites. Prepare and issue Minutes of Meetings. Coordinate with other services for interfacing and commissioning activities of the rolling stock. Qualifications To be considered for this position as Lead Rolling Stock Expert we have the following requirements: Graduate professional and have a professional license. A systemic vision, be a team player, organized sensitive to customer service. Experience of minimum 10 years in Rolling Stock, ideally including experience with Light Rail Vehicles. Knowledge of railway rolling stock structures Experience in root cause analysis for mechanical issues on rolling stock in service. Knowledge and management of railway test environments. Good knowledge of materials and electrical and pneumatic systems and structural analysis is required (HVAC, Brake systems, TCMS, FEA, Welding). Fluent in written/spoken English [EL1]Graduate need to be graduate in Engineer Degree and if they have a professional qualification, for instance membership of a recognized engineering organization better but not mandatory.
