Job Purpose This position is responsible for repair and maintenance of RSD emissions testing equipment and providing support to the program's RSD Equipment Operations.   Duties & Responsibilities * Performs maintenance, repair and calibrations on Remote Sensing emissions testing equipment. * Logs, tracks, orders and account for all maintenance inventory for the RSD program. * Maintains company supplied tools and vehicle equipment. * Contact engineers, vendors and manufacturers for more detailed parts or repair information. * Document and maintain repair procedures. * Maintain RSD equipment repair documentation. * Provide detailed reports of hardware and software issues, recommendations or improvements to be addressed by engineering. * Software release documentation/Software regression testing. * Provide assistance/training to RSD Operators on complex problems. * Train RSD Operators on how to use and troubleshoot equipment in the field. * Help Operators to troubleshoot RSD equipment over the phone or on the road. * Some warehouse labor required. * Assumes other duties as assigned by management. * Professional communication with Staff, Department Head, and State Staff when applicable. * Learn and assist in TAS system related repairs throughout the network.   Working Conditions Some Warehouse environment hours and a lot of time spent in the field working on Units with Operators in the weather conditions that may be present for that day. Qualifications * Experience in emissions measurement systems maintenance and calibrations preferred. * This position will report and be located out of the HQ-Arvada address, * Familiarity with operating electronics equipment and PC operating systems is necessary. * Must have good organization and planning skills. * Preferred associate's degree in Electronics Technology, or multiple years of experience in Engineering or other related field or equivalent training. * 2 years' experience in a technical maintenance position. * MVR in good standing and maintain an acceptable driving record to remain in role utilizing company vehicles. * This current role is slated for an Afternoon- Evening Tech support role to supplement current activities- Hours would be similar in nature to 11:00AM to 7:00PM or until all units are off the testing sites.
