FTE: 0.80 Standard Hours: 32.00 Shift: Shift 1 Tuesday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with no weekends and no holidays Why This Job Could Be Perfect for You! Provide classroom and clinical instruction of students in the School of Radiology Coordinate schedules, clinical rotations, and attendance for students and faculty Hold advisement meetings with students Engage with College/University affiliates Responsible for rotating through non-FMLH clinical placement sites to meet with staff and students No holidays, call, or weekends! Day off each week likely to be Monday. Schedule would be Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Job Summary: Supports the program director in assuring effective program operation, intern education and quality improvement activities for Froedtert Hospital's School of Radiologic Technology. Monitors all assigned staff for performance accomplishments as well as issues needing attention. May conduct one on one in-services; advises manager and/or department educational coordinators of a need for training and review of updates as needed for staff. Addresses minor behavioral issues with staff members as appropriate; reports other issues to Program Director for action. Provides objective feedback for peer reviews. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Documented equivalent of three years full-time experience in the professional discipline is required. Documented minimum of one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program or a minimum of 2 years as a Radiologic Technologist assisting with duties in a radiologic technologist school at an academic hospital is required. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, other healthcare or related field is required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation and counseling. Has a working knowledge of JRCERT standards. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
