JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise transmission equipment installation works at client substations, including GIS, transformer, relay, and associated systems.
Ensure contractors comply with statutory safety regulations (WSH Act) and in-house safety and quality standards.
Attend and conduct daily toolbox meetings (TBM) to review work activities and risk mitigation.
Review method statements, safe work procedures (SWP), and risk assessments (RA) prior to work commencement.
Verify workers’ safety credentials (e.g., Work-at-Height, Lifting Gear Certs, REO passes) and enforce compliance.
Monitor and document work progress, safety observations, and incidents via SAFE365 app and other digital platforms.
Operate and manage Body Worn Camera (BWC) and verify contractor’s CCTV system is functional before any work begins.
Submit weekly site reports and incident reports within 24 hours when required.
Participate actively in safety inspections, audits, and Project Safety Reviews (PSR).
Liaise with contractors, project officers, and internal stakeholders on technical and safety issues.
